Equipment Ordering Policy

PRODUCT PRICING

Backcountry Equipment reserves the right to change prices for products at any time without prior notice.

EQUIPMENT PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

We strive to maintain adequate stock levels; however, the consistent high demand for our products may occasionally lead to backorders for interested customers. It is not uncommon for items that are out of stock to take extended times to be replenished. In such instances, we are more than willing to add you to a waiting list (See Waiting List Procedure below) to receive notifications once the product becomes available again. While this situation can be frustrating, being informed about availability from the outset can help in making appropriate plans. The anticipation of receiving your new equipment can also add to the excitement of the overall experience.

WAITING LIST PROCEDURE

To join a waiting list for an item on backorder, please furnish your name, the specific product you desire, and the most convenient method of contact, such as a phone number or email address. Being placed on a backorder waiting list serves solely to notify you when the product becomes available again. There is no obligation to purchase the item once restocked, and this does not guarantee a known timeframe of availability. Upon replenishing our stock of backordered items, we will inform you via the contact details provided. Following this notification, you will have 2 business days to confirm your interest in the product. Failure to respond within this timeframe will result in the forfeiture of your place on the waiting list, and the next customer in line will be contacted. Should there be remaining stock after the waiting list is addressed, the product will be open for general purchase.
